Four months after I came to Christianity today, Darren Patrick took his life. And my relationship with Darren was very different than a lot of the relationships that I think people inside of the journey had. In part because so many friendships disappeared for both of us, really, but for me as well. So his death in 2020 really catalyzed aAmanpour: It took me to a dark place, but also made me aware of that darkness.
