Climate Reparations as an Idea Is Very Powerful
Did companies like axon and shell delay action on climate change by shaping our sense of urgency around the climate crisis? If so, to what degree should they be held responsible? I think it's worth pointing out that many of the biggest oil companies in the world are state owned, not private enterprises. The united states has benefited enormously from the cheap energy produced from the burning of fostil fuels like that. That explains a lot of how we became the dominant power in the world.
