The Purpose of Being a Public Intellectual

Tucker Carlson looks at the people that are attacking him and says, "This is this is the enemy of my enemy thinking in American politics" It's a very similar instinct to the one of, you know, well, let's get Andrutate on a show because those bad people are attacking and they must be good. But then there's the anti-tuckers who are just living their life trying to tell you who they don't like so you will like them. I mean, what is the purpose of being a writer, a journalist, a so-called public intellectual?
