The Degrowth Movement: A Way of Working Smarter

Is degrowth about economic decline or is it about kind of working smarter? Keynes said that as we become more productive, what people should do is swap work for leisure. But if you look at the data, there has been a profound decoupling of economic growth and carbon emissions in European countries. I just think the degrowth movement is a lot of woolly thinking there. There's a lot of pseudoscience there. It's almost like whatever you're having yourself, right? You can throw it all into one big thing.
