The Meaning of the Genealogy of Jesus
The incarnation is where God unites himself with all of humanity. So he doesn't just become arbitrary flesh, but he's a person like we're, like we're all people. And in a, in one sense, Christ has united himself withAll of humanity. This would be descending from Adam. Right. Luke's gospel carries that. But Matthew takes a different route in talking about the word becoming flesh and he decides to talk about the way in which God preserved a line in which that he would have that word become flesh through. He does this and the reason it matters is because his flesh is not just arbitrarylesh, but it's, it's come from a certain lineage.
