Fennel: A European Food in Season

Fennel is indigenous to the Mediterranean shores. It's in season right now in much of Europe. Just roast it and eat it. You wouldn't think it would roast well because it's so wet. I ate loads of Fennel in Sicily in Sardini pasta. In between eating Aroncini and swimming in beautiful crystal clay waters, I found the time to read a short Sicilian novel by Leonardo Dorschar. So with you too, fancy a little trip to 18th century Sicily? I really recommend it.
