The Kronstat Rebellion

In the final analysis, the kronstat rebellion was a failure in just about every way but one. The sailors went down as eternal martyrs to the creeping authoritarianism of communist russia. In terms of what they had actually fought for, in march of 19 21, almost nothing came their demands. They did not free any socialist or anarchist prisoners. And in political terms, the rebellion led the communist party to secure even more dictatorial power for itself.
