Catherine, the Precious to the Papacy and the Medici

In 1529, with imperial troops arriving in Florence, these new extremists meet them with a fierce defense. They fear that the Medici will come back into power if Clement and Charles are together on this. So they consider eliminating the main marriage pawn, who of course is little Catherine. She's dropped off at St. Alucia convent again, where she started this whole odyssey.
