The Differences Between Men and Women in Friendship Jealousy

Both men and women feel friendship jealousy. Men interestingly show more friendship jealousy over the perspective loss of an acquaintance than women do. Women prefer close, dyadic bonds like one on one friendships whereas men tend to have these more loose, multi-male groups as friendships. So what that suggests is that women stand to lose more from the loss of any one particular friend than men do.
