The poet robert bly wrote it in the eighties, i think. It's about male malhood and mail rights of initiation and all the stuff. Growing up as a boy, you didn't become a man until the other men invited you in to them. The symbolism was, you you breast fed your mother, and now you will get sustenance from us. We can also feed you. I understand there's violence and other things. But i found that nothing like that happened to me.
