The Power of Monologue

I like thinking of myself as open minded and objective, you know, because that makes me feel good about me. But if you've got pre existing ideas and beliefs and standards, it's almost hard to be almost impossible to be objective in the truest sense. I just love trying to get into the mindset of somebody whose views I find totally baffling. If you're an atheist, try and get in the mindset of a Christian or a Muslim. And even if you don't end up getting persuaded, you can see your own views in a new way, maybe.
