I'm not a believer in lock-in fears, but I think a bigger problem is does anything work? And I would say maybe you don't need it. First, try to make sure you get something that works. You ain't going to need it. If you need to change, maybe the future has changed at that point and you just do the new thing. It's very difficult to pull out the idea of a container from a microservice. The benefits are so great that it's hard to ignore microservices.
