The Inflationary Crisis in the United States
Inflationary crises happen really as the economy is on an upturn. Just because there's less of something doesn't necessarily mean that prices should go up. So essentially, corporations start to put in place a form of pay check based rationing. And so all these things can start to create supply chain bottl necks which then ultimately makes it easier for companies to say, well, look, everybody wants a pelaton, but there are fewer pelatons. It's harder to make them, it's harder to get them here, and thus we're going to raise the prices.
