The Importance of Quality in Design Systems

As a design systems designer slash developer, I almost see myself as like an editor. And I am definitely fighting against chaos and I'm always trying to create order. But there is something really cool about allowing new patterns to emerge outside of the system. It would be weird if I didn't focus on it. All these tiny little things that we attribute to quality that sometimes get overlooked when we're shipping new features.
