I Am Like a Weaned Child With Its Mother, I'm Content
Think of the difference between a baby that is still breastfeeding and a weaned child who's two, three, four. Jesus wants us to grow up in a maturity where we walk no longer by feelings, but by faith. John would say it's something like that that God is up to in the soul. We run and operate based off of love, that is now our driving motivation.
