Is Good Enough the Best Way to Go?

A lot of the work that I was doing was involved in organizations that were going through kind of data transformations and weren't very mature with respect to data science and analytics. And so it's very easy to hit that good enough mark. So oftentimes I would be working on something and have a kind of naive solution that I would assume would be like the benchmark for something cooler that I would build later. Yeah, I think that's how things should work. If the baseline works, then you should use the baseline and only optimize when that's the top priority.
