Sexual Violence in the DRC

In 2021, 40% of the victims that we received were assaulted by non-arm men. This show that sexual violence is also committed by civilians and is not only a cause of armed actors and armed men. I would say it hampers general funding for survivors because if you associate sexual violence with conflicts, then you deny it's happening as where you deny it’s a bigger problem than this.
