I think maybe COVID was a little bit easier for me than for other people. I know that the work that I do could be done online. It was not deeply impacted. The first few months were a combination of deep bliss at just being disconnected from the craziness of life. There was something very intense about the intensity of the silence and the heat which had of course ominous meanings like the idea of living in the Middle East.
She's a filmmaker, feminist, artist, writer -- impossible to pin down, a connoisseur of multitudes.
