"This is one of those movies. So clear where it's like every NC 17 shot is like an insert of a close up that you can tell was either added to make it NC 17 or could be easily excised and the movie would be fine as an R," he said. "I don't think, you know, that like anyone should be deterred by the fact that it's R rated in theaters because I think it will still be very hard."
