How Did They Hit You?

Even admitting you're wrong is skill, like changing your mind is skill. I want to go back to the letters. Like it's almost a cliche at this point to say that all constiont letters are the great letters. But i'm curious what you think of the letters, reading them, how did they hit you? Or did you have such high expectations, because everybody was talking about it, that you were kind of like, oh, k, it's not not that great after all.
