The Interactivity of Video Games
Video games are still a rapidly evolving industry. Remakes can make an experience more enjoyable, in a way i don't know if a film can do. Being able to play them is so important that being able to refine that and make it better for the player may be why some remakes work well. I think seven is doing something very different with its reimeraing of seven - but maybe they're just interested in telling a good story as opposed to doing something clever.
