The next time a pandemic hits, we could have dogs at the front door of every school in america. We could have dogs walking down the street, checking out everyone on the sidewalk. You could hire a dog along with caterers at your daughter's wedding or your sons barmizva to make sure you aren't holding a super spreader. But will we go down that path? Forgive me if i am sceptical. Because to take option too, we will need tens of thousands cats and dogs trained and ready.
