It seemed that they were pursuing a lot of them kind of like taking a sideways exit out of corporate life or things like that. People kind of like we're there for the minutes minutes it was a kind of a self-improvement mission as opposed to I want to 10x my writing It seems to me that that's what was lost in academia the enthusiasm and shared experience because academic writing oh my god it is beyond difficult, he says.

He is also the creator of Essayful, a Substack dedicated to becoming “a new home for writing.” Following his participation in David Perell’s Write of Passage course last year, Dylan joined us as an intern at O’Shaughnessy Ventures.
