The WHO's Power to Declare Fakes

A fake declaration grants the WHO power to obtain and share information about any declared health crisis anywhere within IHR territories. This potentially allows for boots on the ground intervention by the US military or other NATO member countries in these environments. The fake was first declared in 2009 during the so-called swine flu pandemic, which later shown to be based on severely overestimated case numbers. Fakes were subsequently declared for the 2014 polio outbreak, the 2013 outbreak of Ebola in Western Africa, the 2015 Zika virus epidemic, the 2018 Kivu Ebola epidemic, and of course, in 2020, the so- called novel coronavirus pandemic,. as well as the 2022 monkeypox pandemic.
