Metallica - The Black Album

The fact that Metallica was being played at all on top 40 radio was insane. It resonated a lot more with me because when I started to listen to the album, I was like, wait, I really like this. And it wasn't something I would tell anybody. But weirdly Metallica now is considered very poppy. Right. So you started with the black album like the black album is a very different proposition. If you start with them at their biggest and populist, I imagine it's a totally different experience. Absolutely.
