The Fear of Scale
I've got a yearning at the moment to edit down even more and just make things sometimes I feel my paintings are a bit busy they're a bit crazy. My current fear at the moment is that if I simplify my paintings they won't be interesting enough so simplify it in what way that's the bit of me who doesn't know how much you can struggle with your own work. Sometimes I find myself looking at people who've managed to really pare it down and think oh there's something in that there’s something in that that I want but for my own paintings I don't know if I can do it.
