Mark's Gospel - Jesus Has Goed Where You Are!

Mark is writing down the preaching of the apostle Peter. Mark recounting that Jesus was with the wild beasts really wants to show the early church that Jesus is with you in your trials. And so Rome turns on these Christians so much so that another Roman writers will say the Roman populace started to have pity on them because they were so tormented.
