The Accountable Monarchy
CNN's John Sutter talks about the idea of an accountable monarchy. He says it would be better than electing a constitutional president and having this president basically rebuild the executive branch from scratch. The only risks are that there is no alternative to oligarchy or democracy, he writes. It will never work if you're used to operating in the private sector where everything runs from the top down, said Sutter.
