Historians have begun to consider the effect of the fire on marginalised groups. Can you tell us anything about the immediate and longer term effects of the fire? London became a really dangerous place, it was more like you could imagine the blitz, but without the modern buildings. There are reports of people wandering through the city who've seen the body of a woman who'd been murdered,. And that gives you a kind of horrible small hint as to what it must have been like immediately after the fire.
