The Law's Relationship With Capitalism

The law as a system of regulation legitimizes what is an inherently unequal system. It presents a particular image of social economic relations where everyone is fundamentally equal and free. But in the area of work most specifically we see the falsity of that because that is where you see the inequality between labor and capital most acutely. The fact that the law can only see power through the lens of the contract actually becomes really important.
