The Principle of Optimism
In the long run, there are no insuperable evils. In the short run, the aryinsuperable evils are parochial ones. There can be no such thing as a disease for which it is impossible to discover a cure other than certain types of brain damage. If we do not, for the moment, know how to eliminate a particular evil, we know in theory, but we do not yet have enough time or resources - i wealth. A solution is knowledge put into practice. Problems are inevitable. Can also be interpreted as an optimistic of reality because problems are not all about suffering and they're not all evils. They're just special cases of problems.
