Selected Essays is a podcast series from The Point magazine about essays you should read but probably haven't. Each episode we'll be talking with writers about an essay that's influenced one of their own. Anne Fatiman teaches non-fiction writing at Yale where she's an inspiring teacher to many students who've gone on to become writers and editors. She won the National Book Critics Circle Award 1998 for The Spirit Catchs You and You Fall Down.
