The Different Types of Sync Engines
The main difference between linear sync engine and those older ones is scope. In the past, it seemed like maybe only one or two features were kind of driven by it. With linear, all data is driven by this live sync. It becomes such a simple model to build applications with that I don't think I would ever want to go back to anything else.
