The Problems With Functions
Dimitri: I don't know if there is any other mainstream language where the community kind of agrees that functions are broken. So, yeah, with C++, it's been around so long now it's hard to find things that aren't broken in any meaningful way. And what I actually wanted to talk about here while we are on the JVM site, I wanted to talks about Kotlin a bit and about how we made the transition to Kotlin. Dimitri: It's actually explicitly preferable to write in Kotlin when you're working on C line and other IDs.
