Transportation Alternatives: A Non-Profit Advocacy Group

In New York City, 119 pedestrians were killed last year. Just under 7% of the streets account for more than half of all pedestrian deaths. Transportation Alternatives' mission is to reclaim space from cars for bus riders and cyclists. The goal here is just to rebalance the streets to better reflect how New Yorkers already move around.
