The Catholic Approach to Execution
In 1415 the Catholic church tried and then found guilty John Wickliffe for heresy. He was spreading views which were contrary to receive doctrine. In traditional Catholic fashion, they burned the mistake. But he had actually died about 20 years earlier and had been dug up for the purpose of being tried.
