The Effects of Free Sugars on Blood Pressure and Lipids

The blood pressure findings were basically null. For LDL cholesterol, replacing sugars for complex carbohydrates was associated with an increase in LDL of about 7 milligrams per deciliter. But that seemed to be where the actual level of energy exchange was like around 25%. So overall, I just don't think it was particularly resounding verdict against sugar. We do know that it can have deleterious parameters that we described earlier but this is in the context of isoe energetic diets now.
