What Is the History of Indentured Servitude?
The English colonies had a kind of, like airsats feudalism thing where you could buy a plot of land and build at. Buti it wasn't necessarily the the races motivation, at least the way myers lays it out, doesn't seem to be primary reason why they switch to slaves from africa. These people were just out looking to get a piece is something new. It was basically, they needed a kind of model of hyper exploitation of workers that basically you could treat as property and then just kind of steal them and like, buy them and stuff like that.
