The Importance of Metadata in Art
Rafael: I think it's really lowering the bio-tronter to stick creation in a way that is a bit reminiscent of how, you know, photography or photochemistry have done so as well. Many people who were not possibly talented with a paintbrush were able to express themselves in a different way using a camera. The artists that I found most interesting are people who actually tinker a lot. They sometimes train their own algorithms or they have a really tremendous skill set that is highly non-trivial. So if we think about it that way, the question is whether this can be art in the first place.
