The Importance of Audience Building
When you start with products, you want to go after the things that people already are saying they want. In my case, it was this one design I made back in 2012, 2011, that said, a smooth C never made a skilled sailor. It wasn't until probably the second year that I really started curating. And so once I decided to hold back and not share everything that was not lettering, that was the inflection point for me.
