The Differences Between the US and the EU's Climate Policy

Climate change was not a topic that could be discussed within the federal bureaucracy until 2020 under Trump. In Europe climate policy goes by the title of climate policy because in European politics, the climate issue is not entirely consensual. The big difference is that the Europeans also have sticks, so not just carrot but sticks as well. We all really see over the next 10 to 20 years as things like carbon pricing begin to bite and the push for renewable energy begins to gather pace.
