The Impact of Globalization on the Supply Chain

There's no doubt that the tariffs which were being posted on China under the Trump administration have had a big impact. It costs in terms of energy a lot less to manufacture it in the US than it does in Europe, for example. The West Coast congestion issue is highlighted to supply chain risk to many US manufacturers and retailers. So they are looking at re-shoring and they are in fact re- shoring.
