We need a tairnes doctrine for the new millennium. We need truth and broadcasting laws, and we need tougher slander laws. The fact that alec jones is still able to promote this kind of a dangerous rhetoric is something that is hurting the country. If we're going to hurt the country, we should hurt the country by doing the right thing. Otherwise, we spark a constitutional political crisis by not holding these people accountable. It's going to be bad anyway, so we may as well have it be bad by doing the correct thing and holding the rule of law accountable.
