James Romm is a professor of philosophy at Bard College. He's also the author of a number of books, all of which are quite fantastic. Our discussion focuses on death and dying. I think one of the things about stoicism or any philosophy is that the advice does come across as practical but still academic. So it's almost like waking up every morning reminding yourself that this is how you should do your life.
