Johanna Kirschner's Execution by the Nazis

On June 1944 79 years ago this week at Plutcency prison in Berlin the German Social Democratic feminist activist Johanna Kirschner was executed by Nazis. In the 20 years since the outbreak of World War One Kirchner had helped run a welfare organization that cared for women and children left destitute by the violence and economic collapse that ravaged Germany during that time. Today's far right Christian nationalist racist white supremacist would definitely have helped the Nazis because today's right in the United States seems just as afraid of Antifa as Nazis were anti-fascist feminists.
