How Would You Get a Million More Sellers?
The idea struck a lot of employees as mnetti, it's one of those things you sorter raise your eyebrows on when you join the company. In fact, most amazon employees thought it was counter intuitive. Why inviting the competitors? Well, basos realized that more sellers on the market place meant a greater selection of products. That products meant more customers, and those buyers would in turn attract more sellers. All of this would make amazon a richer, more prosperous company.
