I was surprised at how often support came up, a lack of support or support that you had at the beginning, which then disappeared leading to isolation and loneliness a few years in. Ironically, church planters early on did not mention this. I think that makes a lot of sense because from my experience, you really do start out with a cloud of people surrounding you running with you encouraging you. And so a few years and we go, oh my gosh, I'm empty. It takes a couple years to build it back up.
