Does Music Aid in Memory?

i was trying to look through more recent studies on this subject, the effects of music on a verbal memory and recall. And it looks to me like te the landscape of finding on this is still somewhat mixed,. This may just indicate that there are different features of different kinds of music and verbal and coding tasks that provide different results in the end.
