The Evolution of Group Therapy for Intellectually Disabled People

In the late 70s and early 80s, many studies on psychotherapy for people with intellectual disabilities failed. Frank Marnsalagman developed a form of group therapy back then called interactive behavioral therapy. He says it uses role playing to get participants' attention as well as act hunger in order to keep them focused.
