More than 50% of the discretionary federal budget every year goes to the military war machine. The real budget for war spending is probably a trillion dollars in the US. So who pays that money? That's US working class folks, the middle class, the workers, the poor, people paying that money. And when you talk about the tens of billions of dollars in aid, so-called aid to Ukraine, well, a lot of that money never leaves the United States. It just checks being made to Lockheed Martin and Raytheon for the next set of weapons.
